Do You Believe Satan Is Real?
Download this episode (15 min)
Do you believe Satan is real? This podcast is an excerpt from The Way of the Master Radio where Kirk Cameron gives testimony that the ruler of the darkness of this world is in fact alive and well. Christian, remember “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” So “be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
This podcast is a bit zesty for little ones so listen to it first to ensure age appropriateness.

Download this episode (18 min)
I met three very nice young people at Pismo on Sunday. They were even kind enough to share a photo of themselves. Christian, now you even have a face to keep in mind as you're praying for Jessie, Valerie, and Sheehan.
I had some technical difficulty on Sunday as well. The battery in my MP3 recorder died. Jessie, Valerie, and Sheehan were patient with me and waited until I replaced the battery. Thanks guys.
However, before the battery change, I interviewed another very nice young man named Rob – he’s the guy the third picture down. Due to my error in not changing the battery sooner, the audio of the interview with Rob was lost. I had the privilege of spending fifteen minutes with him talking about eternity and the things of God. Rob heard the Gospel so please pray that our Merciful God would save his soul. Thank you Rob for allowing me to spend that time with you.
Christian, pray for these four young people and get out there and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ today!

Monday, May 21, 2007Why Use Gospel Tracts?
Download this episode (4 min)
Did you know that God used a gospel tract to save the missionary Hudson Taylor and preacher George Whitefield? I didn't know that until just today. Have you ever thought about handing a tract to someone, maybe a little boy or girl, and that God may use that tract to save the next preacher or missionary that He will use to bring about revival? Here are some inspiring quotes that may encourage you to use these "silent preachers" to reach the lost of this world.
“When preaching and private talk are not available, you need to have a tract ready . . . Get good striking tracts, or none at all. But a touching gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts.” Charles Spurgeon
“Nothing surpasses a tract for sowing the seed of the Good News.” BILLY GRAHAM
“Fifty-three percent of all who come to Christ worldwide come through the use of printed gospel literature.” Joey Hancock - American Tract Society
I well remember distributing them in a town in England where tracts had never been distributed before, and going from house to house, and telling in humble language the things of the kingdom of God. I might have done nothing, if I had not been encouraged by finding myself able to do something . . . [Tracts are] adapted to those persons who have but little power and little ability, but nevertheless, wish to do something for Christ. They may not have the tongue of the eloquent, but they may have the hand of the diligent. They cannot stand and preach, but they can stand and distribute here and there these silent preachers . . . They may buy their thousand tracts, and these they can distribute broadcast.
I look upon the giving away of a religious tract as only the first step for action not to be compared with many another deed done for Christ; but were it not for the first step we might never reach to the second, but that first attained, we are encouraged to take another, and so at the last . . . There is a real service of Christ in the distribution of the gospel in its printed form, a service the result of which heaven alone shall disclose, and the judgment day alone discover. How many thousands have been carried to heaven instrumentally upon the wings of these tracts, none can tell.
I might say, if it were right to quote such a Scripture, “The leaves were for the healing of the nations”—verily they are so. Scattered where the whole tree could scarcely be carried, the very leaves have had a medicinal and a healing virtue in them and the real word of truth, the simple statement of a Savior crucified and of a sinner who shall be saved by simply trusting in the Savior, has been greatly blessed, and many thousand souls have been led into the kingdom of heaven by this simple means. Let each one of us, if we have done nothing for Christ, begin to do something now. The distribution of tracts is the first thing. Charles Spurgeon
Please also listen to this link below – this is a MUST. If you have trouble, let me know, I’ll find a way to get it to you. It’s not even 10 minutes long. Believe me, it’s worth it.

Wednesday, May 09, 2007Sundays Open Air
Download this episode (15 min)
It was late afternoon on Sunday and foot traffic in Pismo was slowing down. The warm sunshine was still on the little plaza area by the restaurants. There were maybe thirty people sitting on the benches eating their clam chowder, ice cream, etc.
Sometimes when you just sit and watch people, it can hit you. When you observe how family members interact with each other, it will hit you. When you listen to the conversation of an elderly couple it will hit you. COMPASSION! These people need to be saved. They are rebels in God's eyes. They are heading for Hell and they don't even care.
When I contemplate what the Father did in sending His Son for the redemption of man and the life, death, and resurrection of the God-man Jesus Christ, I am moved with compassion. I'm not an eloquent speaker but the power isn’t in the sower but in the seed.
After praying for a bit, still trembling, I stood up and did the best I knew how and shared the truth with these people. Christian, I know you can do this...

Wednesday, May 09, 2007My Friend Jeremiah Needs Help
Download this episode (10 min)
Jeremiah is 21 and homeless. He sleeps where he can and doesn’t have much in the way of food or clothing.
Jeremiah has a drug problem. But he wants to get clean. The sad thing is, his mother died a couple of years ago so even if he wanted to “get clean” he doesn’t have any place to go. His father isn’t in much better shape that he is. Bottom line, it’s a sad situation. I so want to see Jeremiah get the help he needs. He says he’s willing to work.
I shared the Gospel with Jeremiah again. I know salvation is Jeremiah’s greatest need but he also has physical needs. Christian, if you read this or listen to this little guy’s voice and hear God speak to you in regard to helping Jeremiah please let me know - I can introduce him to you. If you have any other ideas how we can help him, please let me know that too.
Please pray for Jeremiah

I met a young couple (boyfriend & girlfriend) in Pismo on Sunday afternoon. Jethro was very open to the conversation - Amy on the other hand didn't have much to say but seemed to listen intently.
This encounter is a bit longer than most. I thank God that I had the privilege of spending this time with Jethro and Amy. Please pray for their salvation.

Thursday, May 03, 2007Christian, You Can Do This - Jesus said, "I am with you always..."
Download this episode (1 min)
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20
What a promise! And just as really as Christ was with Peter in the boat, just as Christ sat with John at the table, as really can I have Christ with me. And more really, for they had their Christ in the body and He was to them a man, an individual separate from them, but I may have glorified Christ in the power of the throne of God, the omnipotent Christ, the omnipresent Christ. Download this episode (15 min)
Josie is a young lady that my son Sawyer and I met at Pismo on Sunday afternoon. She was very kind in allowing me to interview her about spiritual matters.
It’s rare that the subject of Evolution comes up in a witnessing encounter when you use the Ten Commandments. It’s because you’re going around the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of agreement). In fact, the only reason that Evolution even came up is because I brought it up. Christian, take heart, you can do this, you don’t have to know everything about Evolution, just stick with the Law and Grace. But even if the subject did come up, you can handle it. It’s not that tough.
Jose needs Christians to diligently equip themselves and step out in obedience and share the Gospel.
Jose is precious to God – shouldn’t she be precious to the Church? Shouldn’t the church seek her and warn her and share the truth with her? YES – YES! WE MUST! The work of evangelism is accordance to God’s plan of redemption. It’s in accordance with the nature of our Savior. It’s in accordance with His finished work on the Cross.
Father, have mercy on this little girl. Forgive Josie’s sins Lord God. Soften her heart. Summons her unto life in Christ Jesus. Humble her under Your mighty hand. I pray she wouldn’t have a night’s rest until she cries out for mercy Lord God. Help her unbelief I pray. AMEN.

I really debated whether I would post this or not. You’ll see why in a second.
My son Sawyer and I were heading to our car to leave for the night when a guy named Slim saw me putting away some billion dollar bills - they are eye catching. Slim is just that, slim and tall - and a deep voice to match.
Slim at first seemed happy to be interviewed. However, after a minute or so, started backing away from the mic and gave strong body language that he didn't want to talk to me anymore.
Slim and I talked only for six minutes or so. This is why I debated whether or not to post this encounter---> Listening to this again, I wonder if I should have shared the Gospel with him. At the time, I was sure I shouldn't have. Even though he did say, "I'd probably burn in Hell," he didn't really want to make any kind of confession of personal sin - all he said was, "I plead the fourth," in response to the law questions.
Lord God, please forgive me if I blundered this encounter by not sharing the Gospel with Slim. Please send another Christian into his life to share it with Him so he can be saved and worship You. May you receive praise for all of eternity. AMEN
Christian, I need your help on this, please tell me if you think I should have shared the Gospel with Slim.

Tuesday, May 01, 2007Kylie & CJ
Download this episode (17 min)
Kylie and CJ were sitting on a bench in Pismo when I approached them with the “Billion Dollar Bill.” Everyone gets a laugh out of these tracts. After a quick laugh, the billion-dollar question is asked, “what do you think happens when you die?”
Kylie seemed to not mind the conversation. CJ on the other hand didn’t really want to talk at all. However, as we moved through our conversation, CJ began making eye contact with me, and seemed to be listening intently. Kylie seemed to be communicating to me that she simply didn’t want to believe. It’s one thing to live in ignorance it’s another to willfully steer clear from the truth to avoid learning it.
Kylie agreed with almost everything I shared, but she would say, “I…I just don’t really believe it.” Again, it seemed to me at least from my fleshy perspective that what she was communicating to me what the Bible says in John 3:19, “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”
Sometimes it’s the statements of the nonbeliever that just blows me away. Why? Because time and time again, they, no we confirm that THE SCRIPTURES ARE TRUE!
It was encouraging to me, and you’ll hear it, that Kylie admitted, “I am a sinner.” I pray that the Holy Spirit would drive the needle of the Law through her heart and so as to draw the thread of the Gospel in deep.
Please pray for Kylie and CJ.

This is an interview with two very nice young ladies. Amanda and CJ were at the end of a camping trip and they were trying to get back home but they were having automobile problems that prevented them from leaving Pismo. However, they agreed to the interview. They warned me that they didn’t have a bunch of time to do the interview but we pressed on anyway. I regret that this interview ends rather abruptly – I gave them the break-neck speed version of the Gospel.
Saints, please pray for Amanda and CJ. Always be ready to share this message – even if you have 60 seconds to do it.

The LORD reigns;
Let the earth rejoice;
Let the multitude of isles be glad!
Clouds and darkness surround Him;
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
PSALM 97:1,2
God has been using this psalm to minister to me much over the last several months. The first two verses are...when meditated on, breathtaking to me.
After spending a while thinking about the truth that, "Clouds and thick darkness surround Him," I put this audio clip together for your edification.
THE LORD REIGNS
